Project Objectives and Expected Results: The purpose of the project is to achieve the planned innovative product – the DoubleSkin facade named “H-CCF” (Double-Skin Facade with Hermetically Sealed Cavity) through the R&D process. This type of facade is a sustainable transparent facade system in compliance with strict construction regulations.
The project aims to enhance the company’s innovativeness by investing in the necessary R&D capacities and implementing industrial research and experimental development in effective collaboration and extensive knowledge expansion in partnership with the Faculty of Architecture. The implementation of this project would enable:
(a) capacity expansion for research, development, and innovation, resulting in
(b) a new product and entry into new production niches,
(c) significantly improved technological processes,
(d) new production processes,
(e) upgrading in the global value chain, and ultimately
(f) strengthening competitiveness both for KFK and the Croatian economy.
